no....according to first day sales of the game, the year delay has really hurt its impact, so I think it will have little to no impact.

No. Not until White Knight Chronicles comes out Dec 21st for Japan will the Ps3 get a JRPG that moves a few consoles if any.

Actually I think the next chace of 20k in Japan will be the launch of LBP. Since that has gotten a good amount of advertising it would seem.

I was talking strictly JRPGs. I think LBP will enjoy some sucess in Japan but I'm not sure if the market there will like the plaforming aspect only or if they will also enjoy the creation side of it. I haven't seen any advertising except on gamesites yet.
