Soriku Sony could Moneyhat Rockstar like their Microsoft cousin does

So? MS can as well. So can Nintendo. But we're seeing no action.

Excactly, So there can be HD Exclusives Don't think Nintendo would Moneyhat, besides, Nintendo Don't Need to,

lol that's not what I meant with MS :P MS supposed moneyhats have mostly made games multiplatform. If anyone wants some exclusive Rockstar game, they need to moneyhat and usually fund the game. Sony was funding LA Noire but stopped. Sony's commitment to stuff like that isn't very strong, as you can see :3

@Obliterator

What does that have to do with anything at all?

Besides, I'm not anti HD consoles.

@obie

lol. :P

Your kidding me...Your always opposing HD exclusives.

Anti: A person who is opposed to something, such as a group, policy, proposal, or practice.

Why would I impose HD exclusives again? If an HD game goes multiplatform it's going to go to the PS3 or the 360, neither of which I own so why would I care?

You opposing games to be exlusive on say a 360. Not both, only one console. As for your question, you want Nintendo to get all the exclusives, this is very clear from what you post.

how funny, the vgc one links to the ign one, and the ign one does not have a link or say what member of the site had a tip or where the conversation or interview whatever happened. plus the N4G article did not say where they got the info from.

From IGN:

"Tom Crago, the CEO of Tantalus and the president of the Game Developers' Association of Australia yesterday gave an overview of the Australian game development industry at GC Asia 2008, and IGN was there to nab a few little tidbits on L.A. Noire, the Rockstar-published game being developed out of Team Bondi in Sydney."

And then there was some quotes and such.

Maybe you can't read?

i just couldnt be arsed to read all through it, i am playing a good game of MGO at the mo

If you haven't read it then why claim to know what is or isn't in it, such as source info?

Simple because forums aren't meant to be taken serious.

Microsoft is playing a dirty game!

So... your saying they moneyhatted the game sony already moneyhatted?

Seriously?  If anything, they'd of finished funding the project to get the rights away from Sony if MS was doing any of it.

Sony and Microsoft play the same game.

The only difference is that Sony fanboys get upset because Microsoft can play that game better, because they have more money to throw around.

Hm.   This game actually looks pretty cool.  It going multi-platform makes the 360 more interesting... but i'll still likely go PS3 for Valkrie.

As long as no stupid "Exclusive Episode DLC" BS comes back, Im cool.

I thought the only reason this was going to exclusive was because they signed a contract. Don't think it is that easy to get out of those...

 We have no clue what any such contract may have said.  It could include escape clauses or requirements on Sony's part such as funding obligations they did not wish to meet or install base requirements they failed to meet.

This game hasn't been exclusive for a LOOOOOONG time:

From GI.Industry June 16 2007 :: The financial report also stated that fellow Take-Two title LA Noire is due out in fiscal 2008. The spokesperson suggested that both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 releases are likely, stating, "LA Noire is being developed for next-generation systems."

+1 Win.

And guys, no one is moneyhatting this game. There was a nasty fall out between the head dudes at Bondi and Phil Harris that caused him to pull Sony's funding. Then Bondi started letting hints it was going multi-plat to recoup losses.

MS didnt pay for exclusivity and Sony was funding the majority of the project before Bondi and Phils fallout. They are going multi-plat because its a very expensive game and they need to sell to a larger install base to recoup developement. I think the combined Install base of the PS360 is pretty big now...

I own all three current consoles and a great gaming rig, now thats out of the way.

"Why post something like this when all it will get is PS3 owners blinded to reality replying? BOTH THE PS3 AND BLUE-RAY WILL NOT LAST 3 YEARS! TECHNOLOGY CHANGED TOO FAST!"

"is it Wii FIt that has sold as many as PS3's sold? Thats a LOL Look at the total sales of software is it just me that sees Nintendo titles hitting 10m+ and you say they arent making a difference? Another LOL!"

"Hell, with all the negative hype Sony spin, people just aren't interested cost is too high and to get the true HD experience (1080p, 7.1 surround) you will need a $1000+ system. THAT IS GOING TO DO IT IN A RECESSION! PS4 will not happen"
