Famitsu's reviews are based on community hype not whether they liked it or not.

It's not really an RPG. The amount of text in the game is staggering, and the main gameplay aspects are collecting icons to build memories with in a puzzle minigame. If anything, this game is more adventure-like as in Hotel Dusk. The card battling doesn't happen very often, at least to where I've gotten up to in this game. I would have to go back and check, but I don't believe there is a leveling system in the game either. Still a great game though, but I don't expect it to be genred an RPG when it gets localized.

Well mystery and adventure usually go hand in hand, so I would gather it will be labelled an adventure game. It's a shame the card battling is so infrequent though, because it's really well done. Here's the hands-on I wrote for the game a month ago.

Someone made a thread using the first week of sales, for this game and another, to disprove the claim that the DS would make any game on it a hit. The thing was hardly any of us were making that claim. But that user had bashed Nintendo in a lot of other threads.



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

I played this game already. Isn't it an RPG? I mean Sigma and Neon have gone back in time because someone has rewritten their past, so they have to solve mysteries (the murders) to revert things back to normal. This isn't a spoiler. It explains it at the very beginning of the game.

The battling doesn't happen often. But it's not rare either. But i did avoid the Karma a lot >>;

I think the murders are interesting too. It's very anything too extremely obvious. :D
