drugs, alcohol and whores can be convincing

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

How very true.

"The worst part about these reviews is they are [subjective]--and their scores often depend on how drunk you got the media at a Street Fighter event."  — Mona Hamilton, Capcom Senior VP of Marketing

Right ... Nintendo Power.

I think IGNs 7.5 is about how I'll fell about it(witout having played it yet).

It's one of those games that's going to polarise reviewers. If you like prancing around with maracas it'll be awesome, if you don't then you'll probably think it sucks.

I think anyone that judges the game on the difficult mode is completely misunderstanding the game. The vast majority of people buying the game will never use the hardest modes.

I understand what you're saying, but their job is to rate a game for what it is and not for who may or may not purchase it.

That's the reason I don't always trust reviews, but that's another discussion.
