But it's never been about the scenery, the Monsters are what always looked awesome.

Watch the trailer. The water effects are pretty fantastic, unless it's since been changed.

@DMJ Agreed, though we haven't seen much of the monsters in MH3 so I can't compare that. Maybe we will see more of that at TGS.

See they don't look too impressive to me. Off the top of my head I can name game from 2002(morrowind pc, Waverace) with = to better looking water. There a few mre GC/Wii games that seem to have better water effects. It just seems to me that they didn't add shaders to the water yet, and will happen by release. Though the rest of the game looks ery impressive.

I mean for me, it's definately better than both morrowinds and Blue Storms (discounting it's wave physics), and no better or worse than Galaxy's. Coming from Capcom, it's actually very similar to what RE4 was doing. It's definately good enough, game size considered.
