I don't think we've thought that far ahead yet, though -2C is probably too cold for her. >_>

We don't mind cold weather, I think we just want to stay from the nasty cold/snow. Rains cool, she just doesn't like the idea of snow and super cold.

well our seasons have been all fucked up for the past two years, because of this global warming shit i mean i snowed in fucking april this year for some reason, the only thing is the day before was hot.

and last year it snowed in march. its all tits up here when it comes to weather. me, i like august, september, i like september because it has that nice windy feel.

Aprils a nice time of year aswell but it tends to rain alot but saying that this year ut didnt rain to much in april, but we had downpours in may.

i dont even know whats going on with the seasons anymore. if you would have asked me this question a few years ago, i would of said

may, june, september, october

i dont like july or august because it tends to smell and be dustyish, it has no wind or anything whats so ever, very suffercatting if you ask me.

but that all canged, all i can say is good luck.

Well that cuts out late November to late february. October and March are rather bleak so I wouldn't recommend them.

The rest of the year never really drops below 8c on cold days and reaches it's highest point of around 33-38c on the hottest days of summer.  A "normal day" can be anywhere between 18 - 30c depending on the weather.

If you really don't mind rain (hehe you say that NOW  )  then Late April till early june is when it's fresh with lots of breezes and not too much sun. You would be unlucky to get really cold days with snow but even then they wouldn't last more then a day or 2.

There is never a good month to come to England. Just save yourself the bother and goto Ireland and miss England. Its a horrible place. Also the weather is changeable to the degree you can have sun, rain, sun, hail etc in a couple of hours. Also our weather forecasts our horribly inaccurate don't rely on them.

I'm not sure whether it's a good idea or not. You need to go there in the raining season anyway, which starts at the start of january and ends at the end of december.

Why not try out Wales or Scotland?

Rain wise Scotland and Wales are exactly the same ... in fact Scotland is much much worse!! he wants to go to England and to know the best month to go, why are you people suggesting other places ....

Anyway I think June - September is the best time, it does rain all year round but we DO get sunshine and hot days.

Actually, we'll probably go through Scotland too or at least I'd like to go there. :-p

As a general rule, the further west you go the more rain you get, the further north you go, the colder it gets.

There really is no point in recommending a month, as it's all up in the air. We sometimes get snow in June, etc. The hottest month is generally July, but it can be completly different everyday.

And even the hottest days here would seem mild to southern-US dwellers.

As for parts of England to go to (it may seem like a small island, but it's a big place inside), London really is beautiful, however it really is expensive. Another great city to go to is Edinburgh, as it's truely fasinating, as Edinburgh is actually a new city which was built on top of the old one, and there are many tours you can take that actually show you old Edinburgh - an entire city that's now deserted and underground! If you're interested in seeing the videogame developer hub in the UK it's all in the North East (although I'm assuming you're going for your honeymoon, so that may not be ideal). If you're interested in surging, and other beach activites, the south-west is the best place for that.

All-in-all the weather can really be more down to the location you go to, rather than the time of year. So essentially, it's all about what you want to do balanced with the general weather in that location. Oh and basically bring a suitcase full of money, you'll need that to get to the nearest ATM.

June, July is my favourite time (i live in London) though dont expect it to be sunny, it will normaly be mild around the calender. Where abouts were you planning on going?

Don't go to england, it sucks. Come to Cornwall instead.
