Well, we now know that three major games for all three major platforms are coming out during this week.

Wii Music will be out on October 20, 2008

And Fable 2 (XBOX 360) and LittleBigPlanet (PlayStation 3) will be out on October 21, 2008.

So what do we think the highest selling game in NA will be that week?

Fable 2. Wii Music will not open as big out of the gate, but will go on to outsell both Fable 2 and LBP most likely. LBP isn't likely to open anywhere near as big as Fable 2 either, but could end up matching it's sales in the end if the word of mouth is good.

But for the week, it's unlikely that either will beat a game with a built-in fanbase for the series.

Fable II no problem. Wii Music hasn't been getting any good press. LittleBigPlanet will rate well, but probably won't push a lot of sales the first week.

fable 2 looking at total reserves it should do at least a million first week, but wii music will probably have stronger legs and do better in the holidays, i just dont see a huge opening week in NA, maybe in Japan. Little Big Planet can probably do 300,000 first week especially if sony backs this game up with some adds

Probably Fable 2 in NA but it may very well be LBP worldwide. Depends on if and by how much Fable 2 outsells LBP. Wii Music will prolly have the longest legs though.
