Forums - General - Americas economy failing, is it karma?

obieslut said:

America had been starting wars on countries which are more or less harmless too them. they have been killing innocent people and have been trying to take over the world.

America is the modden hitler in my opinion. they are bulling nations saying weapons of mass destruction which they have not even found. i am sorry but if america's leaders wants to go around bulling countries then they deserve to get nuked.

Plus if iraq want to blow each other up or whatever country it is then let them, why even get involved, i think iraq was better off before ameria raged war on them and i am sure many of you will agree, and the british leaders are just as stupid aswell, for going along with this.

about the englsih leader saying the ends justifies the means. that is wrong and noone shoudl start war for petty reasons. trying to stop violence by being even more violent does not work in my opinon, what are the upcominggeneration going to think having leaders behaving like this.

if they want to rage war on each other then put the fucking leaders in one room and let them duke it out, dont make peopole who dont care nor want anything to do with it suffer.

So back to the title, do you think americas economy is afiling because of all the shit they have done, and england to. do you think it is Karma? i do

when i say americans i mean the american president and other various leaders, same goes for england to.

name a country that did more good in the world than the U.S. in past 70 years.

you are just like thos wacko fundamental Christians who will say that America is in trouble because of immorality.

America is in trouble as the rest of the world economically because of greed.

Karma isn't a tangible concept, it's a perspective.

People like to take this perspective as it makes them happy to know that people who do bad things "get what's coming to them" even the retribution is unrelated. It's very much akin to the philosophy that natural disasters are God's way of punishing mankind only without God and with more emphasis on individual actions.

Karma also doesn't actually come back upon someone anymore than simple consequences of actions. If you rob a bank, you get arrested. That's not karma, that's a consequence of your decision to rob a bank.

You're comparing America with a leader who tortured and killed millions of Jews in concentration camps? Cmon, you may not like America but to compare it to the Nazis is so crazy I don't even know where to start. Especially when countries like North Korea exist where they actually do torture and exterminate people simply for speaking against their leaders. Not only do the North Koreans torture and kill people, but if you attack the leadership they also punish all your relatives as well.

except we did do those things, My native American ancestors say hi! the only catch is it was during a time when the rest of the world didnt give a crap what we were doing

This is as stupefying as Jerry Falwell (RIP) or Pat Robertson saying that pagans, abortionists, feminists, gays and lesbians were the causes of both 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina. I am inclined to think that this is a joke post.

You should go through the post history of obieslut. If it was a joke post then he's just a joke poster and character.

And by "we" you mean people who likely died well over a century ago.

I love it when people use past and archaic injustices as excuses for future ones.

This is not karma in the sense u mean because its affecting millions of people who had nothing to do with the choices their government makes most of the time.

Karma in the sense of war would be no other country buying weapons from the US and therefore their economy stalls. That would be karma in relation to Iraq.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

what i call karma is voting for bush.
and soon to be voting for mccain.
you get what you deserve.

so let me get this straight, a current injustice is more important then a previouse one when it comes to pointing fingers if you had an affair 3 years ago, does time past give you any right to point the finger at someone who had an afair last week? if current mentality had been in place during the trail of tears don't you think some other country would have stepped in and removed our leaders? or is it different b/c we are Americans and can get away with saying that about other countries

It suprises me there is so little OMG HE made fun of america

thank you for showing us that you are completely ignorant of actual facts and dont have any idea what you are talking about.

additionally the US does more good for the world than every other country combined.
