Well unsliced Bread gave way to one of the most useless inventions ever:

the electric knife... how lazy can you be... and still you have to slice a part for it to become effective...

So Hurray for sliced bread!

I slice my own bread. I prefer my slices to be nice and thick.

I have been saying that for years.  I can't tell you hou many times I've heard its the greatest thing since sliced breat, it's greater than sliced bread.  If thats so often the case, why is sliced bread still reguarded as great.  When will it end!!!!!!!!!  Why can't people say it's the greatest thing since PLayboy Magazine or it's the greatest thing since Game Boy....  well maybe not that great, but still.   Damned sliced bread.  I like tearing it off the full loaf anyway,  soak it in the stew.  Sliced bread just turns to mush.
