What you did one weekend in college should not be a determining factor for a President...unless of course it's murder or something. Taking some drugs or getting a DUI is hardly a big deal.

As long as it isn't a lasting or recurring problem, and they've acknowledged their problem and gotten over it, there isn't anything to talk about.

As for Obama being qualified, he seems about as qualified as McCain to me. McCain has quite a bit of experience and knowledge, but as you said, he's totally lacking in knowledge of modern technology, which is super important in the next 4-8 years...who knows where technology will take us, and we need a President who can at least use a computer...seriously.

As for Obama's experience, his policies seem sound, his plans are knowledgable and reasonable, he has extensive knowledge and isn't a wacko.

I'm not rich so taxing the rich is fine with me. And I'm not obsessed with money, and I'm not particularly envious of wealthy people...so it just makes me think rich people are simply selfish when it comes to taxing the wealthy. Sure it's your money, but you're honestly not getting taxed that much...you just love your money so much.

I'm not that well-educated on Obama or McCain's views...I know the basics. I'm not really interested in politics so much...I go to my daily job, go to college, hang out with friends, sleep, and wake up the next day and repeat. A little more tax, a little higher gas prices, these things don't bother me.

What does bother me is the horrible view of the US by other countries because of the Bush administration...I hate living here sometimes because half the nation is full of stupid racists, white or black, and things only seem to get worse with a president like Bush. And he's not just a scapegoat, his administration has brought forth so many problems and bad policies it's ridiculous.

And McSame voted with Bush 90% of the time, and I can't deal with that. If McCain gets elected...I might seriously consider moving out of the country before we get nuked because President Palin decides she's an expert on nuclear bombs because she's lived near a nuclear plant or something.

Can't see the vid. I'll post it.

Two minutes of Obama with the Camera.

In the past few weeks, Wall Street's been rocked as banks closed and markets tumble. But for many of you -- the people I've met in town halls, backyards and diners across America -- our troubled economy isn't news. 600,000 Americans have lost their jobs since January. Paychecks are flat and home values are falling. It's hard to pay for gas and groceries and if you put it on a credit card they've probably raised your rates. You're paying more than ever for health insurance that covers less and less.

This isn't just a string of bad luck. The truth is that while you've been living up to your responsibilities Washington has not. That's why we need change. Real change. This is no ordinary time and it shouldn't be an ordinary election. But much of this campaign has been consumed by petty attacks and distractions that have nothing to do with you or how we get America back on track.

Here's what I believe we need to do. Reform our tax system to give a $1,000 tax break to the middle class instead of showering more on oil companies and corporations that outsource our jobs. End the "anything goes" culture on Wall Street with real regulation that protects your investments and pensions.

Fast track a plan for energy 'made-in-America' that will free us from our dependence on mid-east oil in 10 years and put millions of Americans to work. Crack down on lobbyists -- once and for all -- so their back-room deal-making no longer drowns out the voices of the middle class and undermines our common interests as Americans. And yes, bring a responsible end to this war in Iraq so we stop spending billions each month rebuilding their country when we should be rebuilding ours.

Doing these things won't be easy. But we're Americans. We've met tough challenges before. And we can again.

I'm Barack Obama. I hope you'll read my economic plan. I approved this message because bitter, partisan fights and outworn ideas of the left and the right won't solve the problems we face today. But a new spirit of unity and shared responsibility will.

I like Obama, but not everything there is great.

Well, you can agree or disagree but ya gotta admit... Obama's got big ones. Made of brass.

1)  If Washington has failed us like he says, the change we need is back to a Republican led Congress, since last I checked, the Democrats have had control the last couple of years.

2) You can't just get elected, snap your fingures, say here is 10 billion dollars, I expect to have solar power stations that produce 10x the power of our power stations now and have them in every state and the same goes for wind power.  You can't throw money at these and expect them to happen over night like he seems to be implieing.  And the hole middle eastern oil thing, I got breaking news, we get most of our oil from Canada, Mexico, and South America.  Very little of our oil came from the middle east.

3) I don't know if it is true, but I remember reading that Obama doesn't like nuclear energy, I don't know McCain's view on it.  Yet that is the cleanest stuff we got right now.  Yes I know you have to store the waste for 1000 years, but that is 1000 years where scientists will be working on ways to make it less radioactive and safe or ways to reuse it safely.  And we also need to help push development of fusion power plants as that is very clean, very effecient, and nearly limitless.

ok...time to point and laugh at jack layton.  id like to also point out that hes started emphasizing "new democrats" rather than just NDP because he thinks he can leech some of obamas popularity

He can't refer to his party by it's name now? Those are some tough limitations.
