I've started saving money for this car to be launched in 2010. I even got GM credit card to get discounts on it.

Last I heard, GM is planning to have over 100,000 cars at launch so that the cost of the car would be around $25,000.
I'm sure the demand will raise the price a bit.

I'm interested in the part where it says 1/6th the cost per mile of gas. thinking about how much gas is spent in city miles i would say that it is probably a 6th of 1.2 gallons, so, 1$ per 32 miles or so...

They finally got done testing the batteries and it's good to go.
At first they were hoping to get up to 60 miles but I'll take 40.

My father has been waiting for a long time for GM to finally produce this car. This could be the shot in the arm GM has been waiting for.
