Forums - Sony - RandomNPC - Persona 4 import review!

Overall, Persona 4 is a quality title. The story is solid, can withstand multiple playthroughs, and is backed up by quality gameplay, music, and visuals. The Shin Megami Tensei series has had a good record of strategic gameplay, and this iteration of it is no exception. It should be once again noted that there’s much more of an emphasis on daily life than dungeon crawling than there was in Persona 3, but whether that’s for the better or not will depend on your tastes. Fans of Persona 3 will be happy to know that Persona 4 keeps most of the same elements that made Persona 3 good, but it also changes just enough to keep things fresh.

This is the first time I've heard about this website. Browsing through it, I have to agree with most of the reviews in that website. Anyways, this is a great score. Can't wait for the game. The only problem I guess is that the review states that theres more emphasis on daily life than dungeon crawling.

Around the Network

I had read it before, and I also never heard of the site, but the review is pretty descriptive, and I'm pleased with what I've read.

But if the daily life means more benefits to the combat parts than what P3 had, it's good, it means it'll be more involved than P3 (which was already pretty important). And the storys look to be even better than the last. I'm very excited for this

Yeah, well thats true. Building a strong relationship with your party members will benefit you in the battle. Don't get me wrong, I love the sim dating portion. It was very fun most of the times. The story concept sounds very interesting.

Dungeon crawling getting in the way of your school activities seems like an unfortunate choice, but I think I can get used to it just fine. Other than that everything sounds awesome. A good mystery story which sounds fun, ability to control all my characters, I'm definitely looking forward to this game even more.

Yes, I'm almost done with Persona 3 FES and I want the next one! The murder mystery story sounds great. Do want.
