This sounds like a great plan for Microsoft. I have to admit they are doing a grea job in partenering with other companies. I have never payed for Xbox Live on either Xbox, but it is starting to become more and more interesting. I have a 250GB HDD on my PS3 and their is a lot of room to up that in the future, so I am hoping Sony will get a subscription based service for Music and Video soon.

At the moment I am waiting for either MS to make the XBL payment cover all subscriptions or for Sony to get a subscription plan. Hats off to whichever one gets their first, as that will be were my money goes.

It's a satellite radio service that is offered here in the US (don't know how international it is).  It offers commercial free music and uncensored music as well.  It has about 70 music channels and probably an equal number of news/info channels.  Soooo much better than terrestrial radio.  I've been a subscriber for about 6 years and absolutely love it.
