Hype is simply a plethora of information, look through it and make your own decision one way or the other. Without hype you wouldn't know nearly as much about the game, and if you looked at all that info and decided the game wasn't for you then oh well, atleast you made a good decision for yourself.

If people being excited for a game makes you not want it anymore.....well I honestly don't get that.
