Have you guys forgotten the amount of bullshit around the PS2 launch? It was even worse than with the PS3... saying that the PS2 failed to deliver on a lot of its promises is hardly trolling, even though I agree that the vast library of games more than made up for it.

Agreed.  I know people who still think PS2 is more powerful than GC.  All the hype that surrounded it and the larger library add on to the myth.
