In the benelux (Belgium , Netherlands , Luxembourg) the prices will be 179€ , 239€ and 299€ but until 31 december there will be another discount on the prices so 150€ , 200€ and 250€ so that means an elite for the same price as a Wii.

Lucky Europe! two actual price cuts in less than one year. I think with those prices the 360 will be doing very very well this holiday season. And no i don't think that making it this cheap will undermine it and make it look not worth it, Sony fanboys will, but the average consumer will probably see this as a good deal and buy.

You have to agree that Microsoft at least trying (more than ever) to gain some momentum in the European region. Even if they dont win their marketshare has grown up since the last gen and they have the potential to enter the next gen with a huge install base, something that the original XBOX never had the chance to do...
Anybody have confirmation of this?
i dont think its will make a big impact in sales ... maybe for 1 or 2 weeks only... europe really like the ps3.
