I don't have cable, I don't watch much TV. I don't get any network reception. But I work overnights and we have a TV at work... I am so glad to be working Tuesday night.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

The Dark Knight, indeed.  Does that make McCain the white knight?  He's certainly pulled an about-face in campaign style.

My advice to fanboys: Brag about stuff that's true, not about stuff that's false. Predict stuff that's likely, not stuff that's unlikely. You will be happier, and we will be happier.

If you have Web access, you can watch live coverage at MSNBC.com I am doing that right now.

Tuesday I have school from 11 am to 10 pm. I get a break from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm to go online, but that's PST so the results will basically be in by then.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

Who announces days in advance they're rushing to the side of a loved one who is deathly ill, but keeps campaigning in a race that's said to be over, only to go to the loved one's side days later? See, I think this is about something else. You know what's really percolating out there? And I've been laying low on this because it just -- it hasn't met the threshold to pass the smell test on this program. But this birth certificate business, this lawsuit that a guy named Phillip Berg filed in Philadelphia in August for Obama to produce his genuine birth certificate, and he still hasn't replied, he hasn't done so.

Good call there, Rush. Whenever I think I can't be more ashamed that this guy is my 6th cousin (twice removed) I'm proved wrong.

It's really to bad that Obama's grandmother didn't make it two more days. R.I.P.

Booyah, I just found out that my avant-garde film screening at 7:30 pm has been made optional so we can all vote and watch election news.  I'll be leaving school at 6 and heading straight to the internet for the news frenzy.

It's really horrible that even when his grandmother dies people are still saying stuff like this.

I'm willing to say she probably already knew the outcome.

I know people on their way out can see the future. I wish a caregiver would spill the beans and say if she saw her grandson became president or not.
