You might want to pick, not only a better source, but a better journalist, too. The writer of the article you are citing has faked news before:

A Faked Report on Iran

"A Colour Code for Iran's Infidels" written by Taheri, a "prominent U.S. neo-conservative" [3], was published May 19, 2006, by Canada's National Post. The story "regarding new legislation in Iran allegedly requiring Jews and other religious minorities to wear distinctive colour badges circulated around the world this weekend before it was exposed as false," Jim Lobe wrote May 22, 2006, for Inter Press Service.

"The National Post retracted the article hours after it was posted to their site, and blamed Taheri for the bad info." [4] Eleana Benador later admitted that her PR firm, Benador Associates, had planted the false story. Reporting on the controversy, Larry Cohler-Esses wrote in The Nation: [5]

Benador, who said her client [Amir Taheri] was "traveling in the Middle East," was impatient with dissections of his work. Terming accuracy with regard to Iran "a luxury," she said, "My major concern is the large picture. Is Taheri writing one or two details that are not accurate? This is a guy who is putting his life at stake." She noted that "the Iranian government has killed its opponents." Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad "says he wants to destroy Israel. He says the Holocaust never happened.... As much as being accurate is important, in the end it's important to side with what's right. What's wrong is siding with the terrorists." Taheri might seem to be one of Benador's biggest liabilities. In fact, he is right now the agency's proudest coup. On May 30--just days after the National Post's apology for running his false story on Iranian Jews--Taheri was one of a group of "Iraq experts" brought to the White House to consult with George W. Bush on the disastrous situation there.

Not only that, but the writer deliberately misquoted Obama. Here is what he really said:

http://firstread.msnbc.msn.com/archive/2008/06/16/1146329.aspx

"My concern is that the Bush administration--in a weakened state politically--ends up trying to rush an agreement that in some ways might be binding to the next administration, whether it was my administration or Sen. McCain's administration," Obama said. "The foreign minister agreed that the next administration should not be bound by an agreement that's currently made."

And, just out of curiousity bigjon, could you fill in this blank for us:

You guys are so pathetic, Did you not read the article? Not only is what he did just wrong. It is HIGHLY illegal. But that is ok, just say it is foxnews news or whatever and it will all be better. Like I said I did not hate the man until the last few weeks. And it seems hypocritical coming from you all who post anti Palin garbage almost daily. Yesterday I was venting my opinions and how I feel about he crybabyness. Today I am posting disgucting news article from a legit source. Whether you like it or not.

I'm not going to read the article or anything else you post that has to do with the election.  You're childish, and the other poster is right about the lollipop reference.  It's really pathetic and doesn't make me, and I can only assume, a lot of other people here not think too highly of you.

Boo fucking hoo if you think he's a dirtball.   There are a lot of people in the world who are a dirtball, and people who fanatically try and bring down someone for any reason is a dirtball. :/  Grow up.

Find some sources not associated with Foxnews.  And sorry you are the pathetic one not us.

So can I use this flawed logic too?

So when Abc (editing interviews and such), NBC, CNN (there are actually ok), and CBS say something about McCain Palin I can ignore that like an ignorant fool right? Because I don't like the source. LOL

Yea, If you don't like what I say you are not going to think highly of me.

Read it before you attack me next time please. It is possible that I may have some insight. Most of these early responses were too quick to have read a 2 page article. That is fine shoot the messanger if you don't like the message. And I really do not give a flying rip what a bunch of people on a Videogames site thinks of me. Seriously, I have plenty of friends, a beautiful fiance and a loving  family who think very highly me. I am not got to kiss any cyber ass.

And I'm not going to read articles that you post because you're a child that has a VERY closed mind.  I don't give two shits about your perfect little world, how many friends you have, how small your weener is, how much money you make, or anything else.  This is a VIDEO GAME site, go find some other fanatics to get giddy with.

Seriously man, do you think that McCain is over there saying, "Let's start talks right now!", of course he isn't.

We are in the middle of a transfer of power in this country. Like or not, come January we will have a new President, Vice President, and (most likely) a totally different cabinet. It only makes sense to wait until things have settled down to start the very complex and incredibly bureaucratic talks of troop withdrawal. Both you, and the writer of the article are trying to demonize something that anyone with any sense would have done.

Stop posting things.

I think Dolla Dolla effectively ended this thread. The writer is not trustworthy and misrepresented what Obama said. Where are all the people that had such a problem with the edited Palin interview now??
