I agree with your concept... it's good to evaluate ourselves on a regular basis.
However, I would prefer *not* to know all of the flaws in music, movies, or a story-based game ahead of time. If someone had pointed out the many flaws in the Lord of the Rings movies to me in advance (characters' horses changing, mistakes in coreography, etc.), then I would have focused on those things instead of getting lost in the experience.
Yes, I will notice some flaws on my own, but I would rather not have the experience annotated in this way. Perhaps Peter should have just done a quiet self-evaluation and left the judging to the players.
