I still have no interest in owning a 360. The games on it that would probably have piqued my interest two years back now barely register a "meh" with me. Even Tales of Vesperia isn't enough to convince me, and I happen to have liked a good deal of the Tales series.

Hmmm. Still I loved what I played so I'll be the judge of that!
Ah. So you buy them for achievements huh!? I guess. Thats another thing I dont like about 360. I find those achievments annoying.=\

Trust me, it's one of the many reasons I've stated above. I hated them before just like you, but once you get into them, you just can't stop trying to ''suck dry'' everything the game has to offer, and achievements let you do so, in a way (I mean, you did pay 60$ most of the time for a game). The Xbox 360 is not the only console with achievements you know, even Steam (PC) has them, and don't forget Trophies on the PS3! =P

I got bored of Wii around 3 months after smash bros brawl came out. MK Wii was a huge let down and very boring. I am kinda getting a little bored of gaming in general. Anyway, I am really anticipating Pikmin 3 and ToS2, but I got a 360 a few months back (at the clearance sale- I don't care about the extra 40GB and I got a $30 gift card). 360 has lots of games I really want- such as Geometry wars, Banjo Kazooie, Viva Pinata, Fable 2, Tales of Vesperia, Elder Scrolls Oblivion ect.

For some reason I just dont think the trophy think will catch on. Anyways you can just ignore them liek I did on the 360.
But Im not the type who likes to do all that. I rarely get side tracked on games. I just wanna get from begining to end. Thats why I like story driven games so I wont wanna do something else but just pass the game. Im not to big on huge open world games or whatever.

eh, I play games mostly on PSP becuase I like them better than DS games. Legal PSP media stuff is a pain in the ass unless you buy media manager for $30 or buy UMDs... Pirating movies and music takes much less time, is virtually hassle free, and is free. I bet lots of people buy PSPs just for the free media and the free psp games/emus you can illegally get (that are a pain to get) I just play games and watch UMDs on my PSP persoanlly.

I do agree with you though that 360 has better games but that PS3's Blu is a great value. If I wasn't going to College next year (and probably not brining my HDTV with me) I probably would have gotten PS3 over 360.

OK, I get it's not your thing, but it doesn't change the fact that Sony brought Trophies at one time because they thought it was a good idea (and it is a good one, think Pokémon, you got to get them all)! An evolution of the whole ''achievement'' stuff that I'd like to see is getting prizes for doing the impossible ones and stuff, because as of now, there's no real reason to try to get them all. Bragging rights for now maybe?

And I also hate the heck out of Oblivion. Too big for nothing without any reason to play the game.

I understand. Well simply its not MY thing. But some people love it.

I don't need a 360. A PC plays all its games.

Even with the price cut, a ps3 would still be cheaper because I would need live/wireless.. plus most games would come out on PC anyways.
