You can't say it was a better choice if you didn't have a taste of what the ''other thing'' can offer you.

Also, @ Valkyria00: There are some games that you can play online even with a Silver account (mostly Games For Windows/360 games), like Gears of War for example. Expect Halo 3 to be free when it comes out on PC as well (dedicated servers for the win!). ;)

Well i might be getting one round christmas, probably Arcade seeing it might be around 130 with Premium being 160 pounds in Woolworths, i dont play online and wii would still be my main console but 360 has some games that i do want to play so it all depends how much ill spent while in Uni this year.

I dont like shooters to much and FPS even more. Still I 360 doesnt have the games I mentioned above.:D

Ive played the 360 alot when my friend had it. It was a decent console but Id still choose the PS3 over it. His RRoD so he repaired it and sold it.=P Hes saving up for a PS3.

Haha, OK yeah, I have to agree that for MGS4, the console is worth every penny. I just wished I had other games to play on my PS3 now though. o_o

Price cut doesn't make any difference to me. Was going to buy it if Capcom does not gove Wii owners a proper new Resident Evil game and that remains the case and would be the case even if it was still selling at it's launch price.

Well people make the arguement that every game on the PS3 is on the 360 so why not just buy the game on the PS3 instead of you have both or only PS3?

Except Tales of Vesperia had to add that. Thats one game I'll miss out on but thats why I have Eternal Sonata!

Eternal Sonata started off good, but you'll see it's a dissapointment to the max at the end. It doesn't make any sense, I'm warning you! =P

I actually have both consoles, and what I'll do is buy all the high profile 1st party games on PS3 and just buy the 3rd party ones on my Xbox 360 for many various reasons (such has better AA, achievement hehe, etc.). I'm enjoying that beast of a box, but other than MGS4, Uncharted and Super Stardust HD, I just use it for streaming movies most of the time. Resistance 2 is coming though...!

Why get a xbox, bioshock and gta 4 are on ps3. Halo / GOW its what 2 games? no thanks, especially considering all the extra costs required to be happy
