hard to say on north american console sales, it alld epends on how good this week will be and how long the spike will hold.

I think that LBP will sell great this holiday season, it probably won't do that great on initial sales since its a more casual game and a new IP. But if the game is good and word of mouth spreads then it has a chance to sell very good.

japan will be interesting even this week is probably only a small win for the 360, so if its not supply constrained ps3 might allready be back above or at same level next week. if there is supply problems for the 360 then it might last a bit longer.

LBP is giving me really bad memories of just before the release of MGS4. I remeber sooooo many fanboys were racking MGS4 up to be a failer, won't help HW sales, will be shit, not convinced, etc, etc. U get the picture, pretty sad shit really. Now, they have turned their attention to LBP with the same kinder crap!

I have 50 PSN friends, 47, including myself who never pre-orders, are getting LBP. Everyone who will touch, see or hear about this game will be talking about and buying it. PS3 owners are HUNGRY! It will have been 6 months inbetween the AAA title of MGS4. 6 months of waiting for the next big thing, and some say it will sell poor, give me a break! SONY is so confident with LBP and so too all the Industry. They are so confident that they know they don't even need a price cut, think on that.

As for the other biased predictions, well, M$ fanboys wanna prey that the 360 outsells the PS3 in N.A, cause it's price cut has had NO effect else where. Also, SONY could drop the price too

360 does not exist in Japan. The last week has sold only 850 units.
