There are three reasons why the Wii is outselling the X360 and PS3:

1) The PS3
2) The X360
3) The Wii.

The PC has minimal effect on the 360 and PS3 the reason the WII is outselling them is nintendo smartly went after the casual gaming crowd that dosent game at all nomally

If it does affect it, M$ doesn't seem to care. Hell they are the ones that decided to put those games onto the PC in the first place. Gears 1, Halo 1/2, Fable, etc.

PS3 isn't affected.
Xbox 360 might be a bit affected since all it's exclusives are going to PC but what does Microsoft care! They're making money anyways!!!

Well I think PS3 games arent so great,if you cut down Dmc4,Cod4,Assasin creed and future Gta iv.
Mgs4,Uncharted,Ratchet...
So it has affected.
I know LBP WILL BE HUUGEE with Resistance and Motorstorm and others.So this should move hardware, when we see those and others.

I hate to break it to you, but none of the games you listed that are on the PC are any good. Actually they outright suck compared with the competition from the actual PC games. The only Exception could be GTAIV since GTAIII was pretty damn good on the PC. The PC isn't causing 360 sales to go down, no PC owner wants those crappy ports on his computer. It's exactly as Grampy said, I quite liked his bicycle analogy.

You say Cod 4 is crappy on Pc?Hah.How about Supreme command on Xbox?Or Command and conquer?

Don't forget that every gen there is free emulators avalable so you can't use that argument.

@Barozi You're not stupid because you play "old" games like you said. A good game stay a good game and you can enjoy it years after its release. Why do you think some games have amazing good legs?

It's more like this when it comes to great graphics, smooth running, and good online. Some games are made for all systems. Some games are made for all but PS2. Some are made for only PC and 360 and so on.
PC Really high quality graphics, great online play, amazing demos and betas
PS3, Xbox 360 Good graphics, decent online, ok demos
Wii Graphics are good enough for the vast majority of people, bad online, no demos
PS2 Graphics are not good enough for most people living in Western or industrialized nations

If I made over $50,000 a year, I'd be less likely to play PS3 and Xbox 360 games than I am now (unless there was just a game I had to play, in which case I'd rent a system and the game). Outside of a few exclusives and sometimes an earlier release, they really don't compete with the PC in my mind (if money was no object). Since the PC games are usually better and sometimes much better (for example, FPS are far better on PC than Xbox 360).

Anyway, this may be one thing holding back the Xbox 360 and PS3. As the Wii doesn't really have to worry about these issues too much, Wii control is so unique and such
