Ahhh, you hurt this little guy's feelings...

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

As much as I hate Matt Damon, he sums up pretty good what I think about Palin.

This sounds a bit too much like Jews for Jesus. If you're a democrat that votes for a Republican, doesn't that mean you're now a Republican? I mean in spirit of course since that obviously wouldn't change your voter registration party affiliation.

Probably not.  I mean... 10% of democrats say they plan to vote for McCain.

So far, I am the only one who named a Democrat for McCain. And nobody Googled him yet.

Come on Kaz, you posted a list of them in my thread. (I think it was Kaz).

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

STOP DERAILING MY TREAD....

I want to have an intelligent debate and not a National Inquirer type read.

What's bolded is never going to happen here. You are on a video game site, and thus your target audience will respond accordingly.

As for derailing, don't worry about it. The only good use of this thread is the OP (and getting IM out of it). Every derail is a bump, and that's a good thing (for you anyway).

John Coale is a Democrat who supports McCain. He is a well-known and influential fundraiser and a former Clinton supporter.
