Supposed to be a Europe price announcement on Thursday.

Some of you are extremely bullish on PS3 sales this week... I'd be surprised at anything over 50k sales. Remember, that's still a more than 100 percent increase over what we've been seeing. No new software releases this week for PS3 either.

For months now, every single time something was supposed to boost PS3 sales significantly, we ended up being disappointed with the actual results. Every time. While I do think sales will see a nice rise, I've seen too many optimistic predictions fail to come true in the past to go any higher than sales doubling.

Feel free to laugh at me if sales are 70k next week.

i agree i think that u will see an increase to about 50-70k and it drops considerably low after that....there just isnt any games currently that can make those that want the PS3 get it now....so yeah im predicting that to happen this week and as far as price cuts are concerned...i only see rise of sales due to christmas, big games that hit the market....which can make a system sell dramatically...

 Has there been any indication at what time this would be, because I would presume they would also announce the price of the PSP Slim & Lite?

I would guess between 50k and 75k this week, possibly passing the Wii ...
Next week I would expect around 35k to 40k possibly passing the XBox 360...
And the week following I expect the PS3 to be around 20k to 25k

I´ll say about 35-45k like most here, does anybody know when we´ll know for sure ???
