Game quality easily for me beats sales. Do you get anything out of a company selling more? no, but you get from playing the games.
Sony delivered and my expectations were really high.

At least the Nintendo guys are admitting that Sony had the best showing. I will forgive a little trolling, because I know I can do it sometimes.

Yeah that's how I think this plays for Sony overall. Even if Sony had the best show they really needed to do a better job than that. All they showed was that they are going to give MS one hell of a fight for 40 million or so hardcore segment. They really needed to show they have an idea about how to capture the 100+ million market they used to dominate.

If sony delivered, Nintendo did as well: both showed new stuff from games we already knew.
Except that nintendo showed a new potential system seller, wii fit.

Wow, I just had a flashback to what Nintendo fanboys were saying 5 years ago.
3 PM PSN is supposed to get an update, I expect Lair and Heavenly Sword demos and Killlzone 2 and MGS 4 videos.

Hey, Mario has bee suit!! Did you not see Mario in the bee suit? I'm guessing you did not because had you seen it there is no way you would be saying anything but Mario Galaxy was the best game.
In my subjective opinion I think Mario Galaxy was the best but I don't think anything is going to come close to Wii Fit in sales. As for the PS3 I think LBP was the best game. Though I'm not a big FPS fan.

sony had a good show but there was still little new shown, lots of nice trailers at the end tho and they have a strong first-party to take advantage of unlike MS who mostly showed third-party multiplats
summary: psp redesign and new colors. echochrome for psn. ut3, haze timed exclusives for the holidays. new infamous game. nice-looking mgs4, kz2 trailers but nothing new really shown about it. that's about it as far as games go. it basically wins by default.
compared to last year tho this year was great hehe. no memorable quotes this time around, sad.
