Boy am I tired of hearing about this game. What the heck is it anyway? And if it doesn't sell 8 million copies I feel like I should slap a few fanboys given how much noise they have been making about this game.

Then why come in the thread?

Because I am bored as hell at work and the game was taking up 2 threads on the front page so I came in hoping there would be something remotely interesting here.

Lol look at starcraft going in threads and attacking ps3 fanboys lately. I think he's getting worried about his precious xbox.

Hmm i wonder how MM will handle the install.

Im guessing it'll be 2-3gb of general data. Like physicals, object type rules and "common textures".

Afterall he says that tutorials + behind the scenes data is taking up most the space in order to minimize the size of levels we create.

er 40gb for that? i dont think MGS4 was 40gb :S

I'm more concerned with how much hardrive space it will take up.

Sony rolling out larger HD PS3 units in the run up to LBP release, stinks of "This game needs craploads of space".

I can see a lot of people who had no option but to buy smaller HD models being very angry, and no, we shouldn't have to upgrade because of one game.

I doubt the install will be that massive from the posted info.  The make it clear the game/levels aren't too big and there seems no reason to load a lot of tutorials onto the HDD rather than stream them as you review them.

On the other hand if they need all the content on the HDD, and you have to download new content a lot in user levels then in theory there is no upper limit to HDD need with a game like this (I guess theoretically there isn't anyway).

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

That's great to hear. Remember, uncompressed audio was the reason for MGS4's size, I wonder what the reason behind this is?

Infinites objectz and customisazion.

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Watch my insane gameplay videos on my YouTube page!

well i guess this game is huge in more ways then one.

This game might fall into the same trap that spore fell into, great we can make our own levels, now what do we do?

although it could also be amazing, just have to wait and see.
