I wonder how Virtua Figher 5 will do here in North America, it's doing horrible in Japan now... :o Damnit Nintendo, bring over that Bleach fighting game so we have an "exclusive" fighter too! ;)
Nobody is crazy enough to accuse me of being sane.

Euclid - I thought the same thing, I don't believe that closing the gap means "We only got outsold by 10%" I understand what everyone else said but it feels like a cope (sp?) out. Shams - Your in denial, console sales mean everything! Without a BIG sizeable market , developers will not make PS3 exclusives. They will either opt out for multiplatforms, Wii exclusive or 360 exclusive. The decent games your talking about may not come.

Finally, someone who agrees with me. Thanks gebx for bringing some common sense to these forums! What you said is dead on. I am actually kinda shocked that more people didn't find this 'closing the gap' comment total BS and a huge spin on words.
@washimul What happens in March that turns sony's fortunes arround? @vanguardian1 You would have thought that VF5 would have done REALLY well in Japan since the PS3 really doesn't have any other good games out right now (other than resistance...). The same thought leads me to believe it should do good in NA, but who knows after what happened in Japan.
As it's been said, you can't say that the PSP's demand is going to exceed the DS Lite's when you need just as much of a miracle to find a DS Lite as you do a Wii at this point. To date I believe 4 3rd party DS Lite titles have hit 1 million+ sales. Dragon Quest Monster Joker alone keeps going on and off the Japanese charts due to the fact that the cartridges aren't being produced quickly enough, if it had a plentiful supply it may have been able to reach near 2 million sales by now.
