The Da Vinci Code was awful. Anyone who disagrees has never read a real action novel.

Angels and Demons is almost exactly the same, and yes, i know its a prequel.

Digital Fortress was comical, especially the end with the firewall section

Deception Point however, was quality. Exciting, believable, a great heroine...i loved it.

Dan Brown isnt fit to lick the boots of Michael Crichton tho

I loved da vinci code, Angels and Demons was better tho, The only books that Hzve ever read from start to finish are Harry Potter Books and Dan Brown books. There's lots of trash books, but da vinci code aint one of them.

Well, it seems as if most people don't like Dan Brown's books. I've never read one but they were promoting the new movie on Entertainment Tonight tonight, so I thought I would ask.

Has anyone read any of Donald Tyson's Lovecraft inspired Necronomicon books?

My most anticipated games:  Whatever Hideo Kojima is going to do next, Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Gran Turismo 5, Alan Wake, Wii Sports Resort.  Cave Story Wiiware.

Read 'Prey' by Michael Crichton. It is written so much better than the Da Vinci Code. Dan Brown is just sensationalist with everything

I will read that, Maybe he does sensationalise things but I still really enjoyed Angels and Demons A lot because of the character development and story.

Fixed for your sig

Anybody interested in Action novels should read "Day Of The Jackal" by Frederick Forsyth, probably the best in the genre(for me at least).

It's sad that the girl from Amelie is in movie that was so railed by the critics.  At least she is still super hot.  I can't begrudge her picking the role, because Amelie was just that good.

So Hot!!!

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson
