Forums - Sony - Infamous developers : PS3 can do 'everything you want'

all the Sony fans appologized for

I didn't say that it did look as good as Gears of War. But it looked leagues better than any 360 launch game (I won't even talk about Wii launch games *cough* Red Steel *cough*). But the point was that you said PS3 launch games were short and this was simply not the case for Resistance which was a solid, good-looking 15-20h FPS with good story, fun gameplay and great multiplayer.

but hey at least it looked pretty right?

I am positively aghast that not even you deny that it looks amazing. Must be the best looking game ever. Oh besides that it was one of the best Action-Adventure games around. Innovation is great if it enhances gameplay.

because it typically sells well or do you actually considering a Luxury Racing Car game something worth bragging about?

??? This is Gran turismo the biggest and best racing franchise in existence. Yes I consider this an important game to have on my console and its the most played game I have.

Oh and I didn't deny that the Nintendo has already released 90% of its big franchises. That's what I said so I do not understand what your point is. This results in the problem that the Wii has nothing good left for christmas 2008. So I hope you had fun playing Galaxy, because this christmas you can play Wii Music while I play Resistance2. Sounds fair.

pay no mind to the 360, lol, that might derail your argument just a tad

I thought comparing it to the Wii was fitting given that you were the poster I was answering to. But even the 360 had its best lineup 2007 (Halo3, Mass Effects, Bioshock).

Lol, another "this console can do everthing because we ara making a game for it" coment, lovely :P

Why yes it is, its funny because you believe (as for most gamers on this site) the wii is capable of doing anything that the ps3 or 360 can do as well.

lol lol

sarcasm

I don´t believe that the Wii is on par of the other two consoles, and I haven´t said something like that since I joined here, so, put some proof or stop putting your tipical fanboy shit in my mouth :)

By me:

Wow, sometimes the amount of text a person feels is necessary to respond with tells more than the text itself. Not even half a scentence is quoted and you explode into this rehearsed spiel defending the game... Again, defaulting on Graphics as the crux of your argument.

but hey at least it looked pretty right?

Actually I was belittling the game in that graphics were its only signiture achievement. You sure like graphics don't you.

So the fact that the game sells well is more important than its substance? This kind of contradicts your prior arguments against Nintendo games doesn't it. And, Nintendo has already released 90% of its franchises you say? How do you figure, I'd like to see some figures. And again, you break down into frustrated babbling about Wii Music.

I did enjoy Super Mario Galaxy, alot of people did, Game of the Year 2007 I'm told, I wonder why Uncharted didn't get that title, didn't it have better graphics? Tell ya what, while I enjoy a meriad of third party support for the Wii this christmas, you can play Resistance 2, I hear the graphics are really pretty. I gets substance and variety, you get graphics. Sounds fair.

So you selectively chose to leave out one of the three major companies of this generation in a discussion where it was more than relevant because you felt it was "fitting"? More excuses after the fact Kryos. *sigh...*

 See the text in Red.

Don't you learn Kyros, everytime you try to pick a fight with me you're just left a frustrated mess making excuses for the shortcomings of your own argument while trying to work in the tasteless and frequent underhanded jabs. And with each exchange the substance of your argument deteriorates more and more. Tell me Kyros, why should I listen to the argument of someone whose defining qualities of games seems to be graphics and name recognition of the franchise? I don't ask that you concede to my viewpoints but I certainly have no idea why you would ever think anyone should give yours anymore consideration than those of the typical "ZOMFG graphics!" ramblings spouted by local gamestore trolls you will occasionally come across lounging infront of the PS3 kiosk.

sometimes the amount of text a person feels is necessary to respond

You just wrote me an answer with 26 lines of text and the first line is this? Admit it you are no true Wii fanboy but this is satire. LOL

You sure like graphics don't you.

Yes and I like good gameplay. Luckily with Uncharted you didn't have to choose because it has both.

I gets substance and variety,

You get Wii Music. If this is the "substance" you want ... Unbelievable.

So the fact that the game sells well is more important than its substance?

I say that GT is the best racing franchise and the game I have played the most and you babble something about selling well is important? Reading comprehension problems?

And the facade begins to fall apart. So, "I am no true Wii fanboy but this is satire"? Could you care to explain this gramatical nightmare to me?

You sure like graphics don't you.

Oh of course, of course. ;)

So Wii Music is the only game coming out for the Wii this holidays? Wow you sure are hung up on Wii Music. Sorry pal, I'll be playing Tenchu 4, Fatal Frame 4, Wario Land Shake It, Disaster: Day of Crisis (god willing), Rygar: Battle of Argus, Spyborgs, Star Wars Clone Wars: Lightsaber Duels, House of the Dead Overkill, Dead Rising: Wii Edition, Deadly Creatures, De Blob, Mushroom Men, Castlevania: Judgment, Tales of Symphonia 2, Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility, Onechan Bara and Samba De Amigo just to name a few.

And that's not even counting all the multiplat games the Wii is getting too! Guitar Hero 4, Rockband 2, Star Wars Force Unleashed, Call of Duty World at War, 007: Quantum of Solace, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, Spore (the first one to get the console verison), etc, etc, etc.

So the fact that the game sells well is more important than its substance?

If you're going to try and confuse the person you're arguing with you're going to need more text than that. You specifically said GT was the best selling racing game of all time in its defense which contradicts your denouncing of certain Nintendo franchises inspite of their sales. Reading comprehension problems? No, but I see what's happening to you. Panic. And Pride lost.

See the text in Red

And true to form, less and less is exchanged every time you come back at me with some more, or maybe you're trying to set me up for a taste of my own medicine by using the "amount text a person types sometimes says more than the text itself" against me. I'm sure you'll especially try to use that in my listing of Wii games to get for the Holidays. ;)
