I´ll be hoping you guys see this thread and tell us to what extent demand for the 360 has started to increase at your particular store, now that it costs $199.

Why?

It'll all be anecdotal evidence. Just wait a few days until the numbers come in.

I work at GameStop. We dropped the price Saturday, but only one guy came in to get a system. He got an Arcade, because his Pro stopped reading discs and that isn't covered under the 3 year warranty.

Of course, we were only open 12-5 that day, and since the hurricane people aren't making too many big purchases on things like this, price drops or not.

I'm working tonight, though, and I'll see what's up. Today is the first day we're back to regular hours, though we're still short staffed, because of that damn managers conference in Las Vegas this week.

My store started selling more used 360s cause of the drop thats about it...
