I think it will be the second best seller in the COD series. behind COD4.
I also think many people have not tired of COD4... the Online seems very plentiful.

Also They started COD5 BEFORE COD4 became a huge success... If they had known that going into it things would have been different.

And they are at least trying a different form of WWII, instead of Normandy, and how the US beat the Nazis. Instead it's the Russians, who did far worse to the axis morale, and the US against Japan.

cod4 on ds> cod5, lol not really.

Cripes, am I the only Call of Duty fan that thought Cod4 was crappy? I grant you the Chernobyl mission was awesome and the Awacs mission rocked, but the rest of the game was so pathetic (and short) that I actually consider it overall worse than the bland Cod-3. And I was a BIG fan of Call of Duty, United Offence, and Call of Duty 2. >:(

Nobody is crazy enough to accuse me of being sane.

I was thinking about the sales, Call of duty 4 (Pc, Ps3 Ds, 360) vs Call of duty 5 World at war (Pc,Ps3,360 Ds Wii.)

So my guestion is which one will sell most.

Its not Call of Duty 5: World at War, its just Call of Duty World at War.

It was specifically asked by Infinityward that only they make the numbered Call of Dutys, of course Activision told them no problem, then screwed them on Call of Duty 3, but they have once again promised that only IW will make numbered COD.

OT: COD4 everyday of the week and twice on Sunday, are you crazy? COD was great, COD2 was Great and COD4 was great. COD3 was a pile. So you have to go with the track record, and I think alot of people understand the differences between Infinityward and Trearch now.

I own all three current consoles and a great gaming rig, now thats out of the way.

This space Reserved for the Nuggets of Wisdom dropped by Bladeforce:

"Why post something like this when all it will get is PS3 owners blinded to reality replying? BOTH THE PS3 AND BLUE-RAY WILL NOT LAST 3 YEARS! TECHNOLOGY CHANGED TOO FAST!"

"is it Wii FIt that has sold as many as PS3's sold? Thats a LOL Look at the total sales of software is it just me that sees Nintendo titles hitting 10m+ and you say they arent making a difference? Another LOL!"

"Hell, with all the negative hype Sony spin, people just aren't interested cost is too high and to get the true HD experience (1080p, 7.1 surround) you will need a $1000+ system. THAT IS GOING TO DO IT IN A RECESSION! PS4 will not happen"

i don't think theres any way 5 will sell better than 4. Wii/DS/PS2 sales will be less than impressive. like 60% of sales will be PS3 and 360

CoD4 by a wide wide margin.

One rushed game does not prove a developer sucks, compared to a developer given the time they needed.

And it's not likely most gamers are aware these games are made by different teams.

Not many here, but they're all assuming the next one will be just like 3, and not everyone else will somehow know that.

As in it's not the prediction I find fault with. It's the basis for it.
