I read an interview and a video preview somewere stating a Chaos Legion II is coming, but when is the real question. BUT the lead man of capcom said "We will not be handling CN II's Development" and said something about square enix afterwards...

So does this mean Square bought out rights to the Chaos Legion Series? and if this is all true...Yet another game we have to worry about being "Exclusive" to the PS3 since Square *Cough GREED Cough* Enix is involed.

Thoughts anyone? for those who even remember this game that is... O.o

First, we'll need a link to the interview, to gauge the context (for now, it sounds like you're trying to put a square peg in a round hole).

Second, while I'm not a huge fan of Squeenix nowadays, you're "exclusive" (quotation marks yours) comment confuses me. Are you upset that Squeenix might make the game exclusive for a system you don't have? Or are you upset that they'll make the game multi-console, thereby letting more people enjoy it?

I really enjoyed that game. There were quiet a few problems but done right the concept is awsome and could be a really kick ass game.

Second, No aslong as i get to play it i could careless who else does, but what im scared of is i dont want Chaos Legion II pulling a Star Ocean IV if you get my drift, since Chaos Legion could be going to "Any" Branch of Square Enix that means Tri-Ace and the betraying little hands could GET there hands on Chaos Legion II, and if thats the Case the "Exclusive" to PS3 may be in for a bumpy ride.

Given the location of the thread and the users name I think we can safely assume it is the latter. I would be interested in seeing the interview though so I can see what kind of connection he is trying to make. I m not certain I even understand why he would trust Capcom to make the game exclusive when they haven't announced a single PS3 exclusive since the generation has started, and they have certainly made more than a few games jump to new platforms. This thread causes me great confusion.

 Edit: Ok well that does clarify some of the confusion. When was this game announced as a PS3 exclusive? More importantly I have to ask again why you would think Capcom would have a better chance of not changing the platform of the game given their PS3 track record.

I don't mean to attack you, but I'm honestly even more confused now. The first part of your second setence sounds like it contradicts the second part, although this could just be a misunderstanding on my part (my head is currently elsewhere).

You've been around here long enough to know that the mere concept of multiplatform sequels to previously Sony-exclusive titles is sufficient to produce unimaginable levels of bile in the ardent Sony fanboy.  Even thinking about the fact that an "Xbot" could be playing the same game on a different console than was the title's original blood right makes it inherently less enjoyable, and often essentially unplayable.

 I am pretty sure he thinks the game was "promised" to be a PS3 exclusive for some reason and now fears the game will go to the 360 like Star Ocean IV. In his world* I think Star Ocean IV was also "promised" to be a PS3 exclusive and now might not come to the system at all.

 *I am not trying to be insulting here but if I am right we have a case of someone misunderstanding or mis-hearing what was going to happen. I can think of no other way to represent that then what is above and am not trying to insult anyone with it quite honestly. I live in my own little world most of the time and get shocked at how different it is from what the rest of you miscreants call reality.

 This is true of any and every game that goes from exlusive on any given console to multi-platform. This does not appear the case here though. I think the guy is being mis-understood and has some misconceptions that have not been established yet making him look worse than he is.

And sorry forgot to mention he stated "It'll "MOST LIKELY" remain on the console family it came from" with that in mind all i could do is asume the 360, or maybe a high-end PC, the Wii has no hand to play in this matter for obvious reasons so nor worries there.

Maybe its because i Strive for a new PS3 exclusive game that i can relate to but it sounds like it has a stronger chance of going to the PSP overall since they didnt mention anything about HD consoles but did throw in a few things about an "On the go Feeling" which disturbs me to..
