Whoa, they said that they never said it would be a hard drive; they didn't say it wouldn't.
It very possibly could still be an HDD. Or it could be SD unlocking. Or it could be some form of cheap holographic data storage. Or all three. Who knows? The point is, they're just saying not to get any expectations yet, probably because they don't even know what it's going to be.
