Do you remember Mario Paint? It was not reallly a game (though it had some minigames). It was essentially an SNES version of the Windows Paint Program. It even came with a peripheral (a mouse). It's common availability today is testament to how well it sold "back in the day."

Wii Music is not game ... but will probably have some minigame options. It offers an experience that can be found on computers and other forums. It makes use of a different type of game controller (the Wii Report). And it will sell very very well.

Those are my thoughts. What are yours?

The Wii Report?

Mario Paint ruled. The fly game was gold.

Wii Music is going to be huge. Nintendo is going to push it more than any other game during the holidays. I am looking forward to its mini-games.

And both have brandnames behind them that can make them successes despite the actual quality of the game.

The resemblance is uncanny.
