The musical score for Oblivion was superb. It did not make the game great, but it added a lot to the overall experience.
Wonder will Eternal Sonata has good soundtrack...It's based on some musical theme?

It is impossible to fathom the importance of music in a videogame. Great games hardly ever have mediocre soundtracks. Remember the first time you set out across hyrule field on ocarina, with the theme getting you totally fired up to explore the vast unknown? Beautiful.
Call me crazy or whatever you like, but I'm a huge fan of the Warhawk music. I absolutely love the tracks, they are just not used enough in the actual matches. Good thing I can buy the soundtrack. =)
At Super nintendo time music really came to alive wiht Secret of mana,Megaman X2,Super mario Yoshi's Island

Without a great soundtrack and/or good melodies most if not all of the great games i played in my life would never have been such wonderful experiences as they actually were for me.
Chrono Trigger,Secret of Mana,FF IV & VI only with mediocre tunes?
