I'm Pro sony on the consoles, and I'll admit Halo wipes the floor off of both games. Sales could prove it aswell.

 

Carnival Games = 2.01 M

Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction = 1.30 M
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune = 1.76 M
Bioshock = 1.91 M

Going by this I determine that Carnival Games is the best of these 4 games, since sales prove it.

 
Yes and here's the definiton of better for you. Don't get smart with me...Better:Greater or larger.

 

2.01 M isn't greater or larger than 1.91 M, 1.76 M, or 1.30 M(This makes no sense)........coulda fooled me. But then again, I'm not in high school....what do you kids learn there these days?

I think you should go pick up a dictionary. I'm in highschool, but it seems to me like I know my words better than you.

Larger: Of greater than average size, extent, quantity, or amount; big.

Are you implying here that the Halo games can even approach Half-Life? Any comparison between the two is automatically won by Half-Life in every way. There are a few franchises out there that are untouchable and basically infallible right now. Half-Life, Starcraft, Warcraft, Diablo, DOOM, Zelda, Mario, Metroid, and Final Fantasy. Halo does not come even close to any series and in fact very few games ever do, Kingdom of Hearts to FF for example. Even though one of my top favorite games out there is Unreal Tournament, I still realize that it isn't as good as any of those series, especiall with UT3, friken PS3 ruining a PC franchise...mutter...grumble.
Did I say anything about half life? Anyways, you should know naznatips is an admin on this forum, before judging anything.Talk to him about ratings thats all I said.

I don't know why you woul consider Halo way above Resistance though. What makes Halo so much better? Resistance 2 will probably be better than any of the 3 Halo games.

Why are you comparing the sales of a game/series to its quality? It makes no sense... Are you trying to tell me that Okami sucks ass? Or that Team Ico's games are terrible?

Regarding Halo-to-Zelda sales:

It is imperative that you keep in mind that during the release of many Zelda games, the gaming industry was a fraction of the size that it is now. Also, Zelda games have spanned across 5 (check) consoles and 3 (check again) handhelds. For every Zelda fan to have all 8 gaming devices would be pretty spectacular. Halo games have been on 2 consoles, so keeping up with the games is much easier.

 

Xbox sold more than NES? Good one. Anyways, heres the definiton of better for you. It's funny how many of you jump to conslusion without knowing the meaning of better.

In terms of sales both games aren't all that great.

If Zelda was so "great" wouldn't most of thier fans buy every Nintendo systems?

I never said Xbox sales>NES sales. Xbox+Playstation+Gamecube>All systems in that time. The industry is bigger now. Advertising is much more popular. Gaming is becoming mainstream.

And no, not everyone in the world can afford every Nintendo system.

 
Halo wasn't on the PS2 or Gamecube...Leave those two consoles were they belong. Check the Zelda games on the gamecube and compare them to the Xbox and see which one is better. Than again I'm arguing with a die hard Nintendo fan.

Do you really want to keep comparing sales(that too average) to consider which series is better?so if I throw Mario Kart into the fray, youll acknowledge that its a better series than Halo?
The best series is the one which has spanned over a greater number of years with a consistent supply of good to great games. Halo just hasnt been around for long enough to be compared to Zelda
