I am going to purchase Halo Wars and I would purchase this next game in a cocaine heartbeat. Msft knows what its customers want: more Halo.
By flip-flopping Halo and Gears each year, MS is making bank. Another Halo slated for next year is an all around Win. Hopefully soon, we shall all see whats in development.

Don't forget the fact that Halo 3 has already outsold CE, and is on track to easily outsell 2. Somebody should just put this thing in the ground already.
Halo 4...I'm more interested in the cript of the game then the game at this point...lol. M$ really need to get that live action movie going, and an animated series would be nice as well.

I'd actually like to see a prequel, even a prequel series, that ends with Master chief being frozen in that chamber at the start of Halo 1.
I hate prequels...
Why do we want to know what happened before what we know has already happened?
Thats like reading last weeks news in the paper!
Unless its a film or something...Computer game's stories just aren't good enough for a prequel to ever be interesting except in very very rare circumstances.
Halo didn't have a good story to begin with, did it? Or did it? I would have thought that no adult could possibly think it did?

Peter Jackson was quite fond of Fall of Reach, which is the novelization of what happened before the original Halo. Rumors are about that this is what Halo Chronicles will entail.
