No, or at least not in the version I played.  It was played with each player using the Wiimote and Nunchuck.

I only played one of the modes so only really know about that version.  :-/

I'm not really sure why you would need the second Wiimote unless the other modes just have something completely different.  The Wiimote and nunchuck seemed to work perfectly fine once you got the hang of it.

It sounded like that, though I didn't hear nearly all the songs (there was a large wheel of songs but people generally played the same 3 or 4 songs for some odd reason).

So....... the original game had a Mexican monkey using maracas to play salsa and mambo (mostly)....
As a Brasilian I refuse to play that S*, you don't play samba in that game.

Like I've said before, this will be the sleeper hit like Mario & Sonic was last year. It's got music, can be played by anyone, fun in groups, pretty much everything that the casual audience looks for in a title and hardcores can enjoy as well.

Agreed.  I feel bad that I defended WiiMusic before I actually saw it being played.  You look like just as much as a tool playing Samba de Amigo but at least this game is fun.
