With digital cameras going higher and higher in pixels nowaday, it's quite confusing for us to actually distinguish the difference and decide whether the price justify the pixels count.
For example,
• 3648 x 2736 (10M)
• 2592 x 1944 (5M)
• 2048 x 1536 (3M)
Now, we know an image quality can differ widely with the same number of pixels.
That means, an image at 5M could be worse than 3M.
We also know that, 1080p is equavalent to 1920×1080 resolution. So, an HD image is really somewhere close to 2.5 megapixels.
3M cameras were widely common years ago, (at lest 5?)
For those with huge monitors, 5M probably could be used for background, but 10M?
Do we really need the 10M?
