The first thing I noticed was the counter is waaaaaaaaaaaaay harder in this game and the roll isn't as good. NG2 also has harder ninjas for you to fight right off the bat. LMAO

The thing is Alma was just bullshit hard though. Which game do you guys think is harder/better?

NG2 was better and more enjoyable for me.

I played through Sigma right before I started NG2 and there is a pretty big difference in the two games I thought. I had played the original & black back when they were released and Sigma reminded me how good those games were at the time. NG2 though seemed to expand the combat very well over the original game.

I would say overall the two games are both difficult but for different reasons. I think individual enemy encounters are much harder in NG2 than the first game. NG1 however seemed to be artificially more difficult just because of the scarcity of checkpoints, potions, and non-regenerative life. If you got wounded badly in a fight with hardly any potions it made the later fights & boss battles much more difficult then they should be.

NG2 isn't very good compared to the original. I stopped playing a few months ago, and went back to the Mission Mode on Black. Haven't touched the sequel since.

NG2 is good, but man do they pull some cheap ass tricks to make the game harder than it should be.

Ninja Gaiden II. I loved the first, but never had the patience to finish it. I beat the second one twice, despite it being more difficult imo. The combat is just so fast and awesome, it doesn't have an equal in terms of the battle system.

Both games are good, I but I like Sigma a bit better so far because of the characters and story. They're pretty even gameplay wise though. Both games are cheaper than a motha fucker though. lol
