Man, I can't believe how young most of you people are. There were RAGING fanboy wars in the PS2/Xbox generation.
I would even go so far as to say most of the fanboy conflicts I see on this forum are much tamer than in the previous gen, probably due to the Xbox achieving parity (or superiority, depending on your opinion) this time around.

I'm gonna agree with this guy. In my opinion fanboys were worse last gen. Especially on the early end of it when it wasn't clear who would dominate yet.

It was worse. PS2 owners thought their sh** didn't smell and always talked about how GC / xbox were failing. Xbox fanboys were trashing GC as being "a kiddy purple lunch box". And don't forget the legendary battle between Metroid Prime and Halo. (One girl in my class at the time thought Halo would be the best rated game of the generation, this was after it came out, i told her Metroid Prime would get better ratings and she thought i was joking / idiot / retard, a few months later Halo was dethroned haha).
Now it's revenge for Nintendo for being trashed the last 10 years.
