Oh bigjon, you're like a 3 legged puppy. We can't help but smile as you stumble in to walls.

ROTFL - Forget Palin, gimme Stof FTW.

Come down to Texas and I'd vote for you, Stof.

OT: Her speech was good, but really, not stellar. A grand slam? Nah. A homer? Possible. A double into center field? Definitely. She was prepped for nearly a week to nail this. With Bushie handlers helping her, writing her speech, of course - unless she was Encino man, she was gonna do awesome on her speech.

Awesome eye-candy, but what about substance? I felt guilty for just eyeing her most of the time and listening to her droning - "I was a governor and a mayor - I have more experience than blah, blah, blah ... And to add insult to injury, blah, blah, blah - blah, blah, blah. Obama will raise taxes! And I think we don't need federal help on the bridge to nowhere. We'll build our own blah, blah, blah ... blah, blah, blah."

I just absolutely love the spin on this. Just look at the facts - she's facing a corruption charge for firing an officer, she was in a party in Alaska that wants to secede from the Union, she has numerous scandals hanging over her head - and to think - she's the best choice? For trim, no doubt. To possible lead when McSkeleton kicks the bucket after a lapdance from her? Hell no.

What I find soooo funny is - for a man with no experience, being in the U.S. Senate for a few years, spending years in the Illinois state senate and organizing community rallies and the like - to beat the Clinton clan - to force Hillary into submission after years of speculation she'd win - to come out of nowhere and be upended by a womanizer and a PTA hockey mom? Give me a break.

I am curious to see the new polls a week after this - or better yet - after her first intense sit-down with a reporter.

Dang it boy, I wish Tim Russert were still around. He'd pick her apart like a starved vulture.

I am pretty sure she can hold her own in an interview. I also think she can hold her own in a debate. We are about to find out anyway.

Just watched her speech. She basically said F U Obama, F U Leftist Media. Amazing speech.

"F U opponent, F U neutral people following this election" is an amazing speech?

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. After watching that speech, I think McCain made one hell of a savvy choice. That bitch is going to be hard to break. The way she threw all the press back at people was funny as shit to watch.

I still don't agree with a lot of shit she says but I think she's just what McCain needed.

Or check out my new webcomic: http://selfcentent.com/

So, judging from the majority of the responses here, I suppose McCain is targeting that 18-30 HD crowd?

To lavish praise upon this title, the assumption of a common plateau between player and game must be made.  I won't open my unworthy mouth.

well, I can see all the reasonable people her are giving her credit, and the haters must have been impressed too because all they can talk about is Palin Porn.

Also kudos to Madskillz for writing a good review. I do not agree, but it is nice to see a well thought out negative.

No. McCain is going after the same grass roots conseratives and hillary votes.

Unfortunately I had too much work to do to watch the speech, otherwise I would have...law school is a bitch...
