Sadly Stargate Atlantis is being cancelled, there will be no 6th season even though the show was still getting high ratings. They have decided to cancel the show and make a DVD movie instead as it was decided that it's more cost effective for them.

In case you didn't know, Stargate Universe has been "greenlit" and will begin in 2009.

The only cancelled tv show i ever cared about was Firefly....(see my sig)

 I've recently found gateworld, it's great site.  I'm a bit worried about SGU because

1) It sounds a bit like ST:V

2) It's designed to cater towards a "younger" crowd - this makes me think of SG-1 ep "200" which sends a shudder down my spine.  Words like "hip" and "edgy" spring to mind.

Ofcourse I'll give it a watch but I'll miss McKay and...... those other people who were there as well.
