I thnk the last book I read willingly on my own was a manga... And I stopped reading mangas 4 years ago... My sister is a book worm though, but I'm really not. Is the book, or the movie better? |
The book, it's the kind of book where no ammount of special effects and CGI can compete with what your imagination comes up with. Trust me, it may be thick, but it's a nice easy read, you will get through it in no time.
Individually they are only short, so if you want it may be easier to read them one at a time.
Besides, the thickness of a book means nothing. I have a 300 page copy of 'the colour of magic' and the movie adaption which cut out 70% of the book and that is 600 pages and takes no time to read because it is double spaced with size 16 font lol. As the famous saying goes, never judge a book by it's cover... or girth.
