I'm planning on buying oblivion for the ps3 and I've got a couple questions:

1. which should I get the Greatest Hits edition or GOTY edition

2. I understand that that only difference in the GOTY edition is "the shivering isles" so I'm wondering, is the shivering isles worth $30?

3. Is it better to wait till end of october and save my money for LBP/Fallout 3?

It depends how long you think your going to play it, I bought the original version and I'll likely be getting the shivering Isles expansion pack because the game is so addicting. I'd say buy the original (it has about 160 hours of gameplay) and if you like the game enough to get shivering isles then buy it later on down the road. That's what I'm doing.

I just bought it used for 24 bucks now thats a great deal. Buy the GH becauses the game is packed with content and you will have plenty to do and you can always download the shivering Isles from the PSN.

holy crap, nevermind, I just realised that Far Cry 2 is coming out in october as well....therefore, I will be spending roughly $180 in the month of october.....so I cant get oblivion lol, besides, its like 1.5 years old anyways

 k, well, maybe if its THAT good...then I'll just get the GH version and not spend extra on shivering isles....

thats still $210 tho...lol, there goes my birthday and christmas money
