I like what Capcom are doing: Bringing games to the platforms where they'll be most successful. Spyborgs and Dead Rising are extremely well-suited for the Wii, while Dark Void, SFIV, and Bionic Commando are better suited for the HD consoles. The only thing that I'd like to see brought over from the HD consoles, in fact, is RE5, if only because aiming is so much smoother with the Wiimote.
For those who doubt Capcom, though...
Wii games released/in development: 12
Retail Titles: 11
Downloadable Titles: 1
Exclusives: 7 (Not counting Dead Rising, Okami, or the RE "Wiimakes")
PS3 games released/in development: 14
Retail Titles: 6
Downloadable Titles: 8
Exclusives: 0
Xbox 360 games released/in development: 17
Retail Titles: 7
Downloadable Titles: 10
Exclusives: 0
So, while the HD consoles TECHNICALLY have the edge in raw numbers, they lose out in the number of full retail titles and exclusives. (In fact, if you want to put it that way, the Wii has far more Capcom full retail titles to its name than the PS3 and 360 combined, when you ignore redundant games.) The HD consoles just have a ton of small, downloadable titles, most of which are of questionable quality.
So, Capcom is definitely dedicating at least as much of its resources to the Wii as it is to the HD consoles - and those resources certainly aren't going into "casual games."
"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."
