With all the hardware prediction threads, and the 1 game vs another threads, I thought this might be interesting.

You can essentially predict anything software related, like when a game will overtake another, when they will sell a set amount, etc.

One rule though, you have to put it by the end of a month if in 08, or by the start/end of a quarter if after 08

My predictions will follow in one of the following posts, as I feel putting it in the OP would mess up the point of the thread.

Okay

Mario Kart Wii + Wii Fit sales in Japan will beat total Ps3 software sales there for 08.

Wii Fit will be the best selling console game in Japan by FY 09
Wii Sports will be 2nd or 3rd
Mario Kart Wii will be in the top 5

Grand Theft Auto (X360) will be the only non Wii game in the top 6 in Americas for 2008

Metal Gear Solid will sell 5M by the end of 08
Super Smash Bros Brawl will fail to see 8M by the end of 08
Metal Gear Solid will come within 80% of SMG sales by end of Q3 09

Total WW Wii software will be at least 90% of the combined X360 + Ps3 for the end of 08 (Currently 75M Wii vs 86M Ps360)

Mario & Sonic (Wii + DS) will have higher sales than Brawl by the end of the year.

Nintendogs will outsell SMW and become the 7th best selling game ever by the end of the year.

The Brain Training franchise's total sales in Others will by the end of 08 be higher than The Legend of Zelda's in Others.
