No way. Wii Music looks like it could be fun. I might get it, and Nintendo aren't stupid enough to send away 50M + revenue (50M is very pessimistic.)

Yeah, since its disney that developing it, and it have nice selection of songs too. I hope the game will sell well(and yeah, it have better graphics too)

Wii Music will fail so bad I have seldom seen a game that has been ridiculed so much. And rightly so. I hope Nintendo isn't running out of ideas regarding new wii titles. Sports was a megaseller, Fitness is huge, music is bad. Perhaps the next will be gardening.

I was skeptical at first, but the game is now a defiinite buy for me.  There aren't enough quality games that everyone can enjoy (or at least non-gamers), and getting people who'd normally never touch video games to play is always worth it.  Again, this is very different from the typical rhythm games - I recall when I was playing Guitar Hero, my mom once asked, "Are you actually playing that?  Does the sound change if you play something different?"  Guitar Hero doesn't give you any control over the music.

When the game releases, watch closely how this game sells - especially those of you who think it's doomed to failure.  I think it will be a good indication of how out of touch we are with the rest of the world's gaming tastes.  For the record, I think its lifetime sales will easily top 5 million.

Do we forget this quickly? Less than a year ago, people were saying the same thing about Wii Fit. "It's stupid, nobody's going to buy this, it'll be lucky to sell a million WW"

So what if nerds on the internet make fun of Wii Music. Nerds on the internet make fun of everything. There are millions of people who bought the Wii, bought Mario Kart, bought Wii Fit. They're going to see ads on TV for the new Wii series game, Wii Music, and they're going to buy it. In droves.

Wii Music will outsell SSBB WW by Christmas 09. You have my word on that.

Oh, and the gardening game was great. (Remember, that's what Pikmin was based on: Miyamoto gardening)

I said in the other thread and i say it again. Wii Music has everything to be a comercial hit, look at the options that it gives to a potential player, it's not over complicated sa everyone can enjoy it, it does appeal to nearly every casual Wii owner, plus some of the gamers as well. It might get abysmal reviews, but people that will go out there to buy Wii music wont even notice that. Wii music is going to sell more then LBP.

Because the ones you mentioned have peripherals for it, and it serve as a function. Link's crossbow training for light gun games, Wii zapper, wii play for the wiimote, wii fit for the balanceboard, serve for other genres like skating and skiing and snowboarding games, wii sports as the console as a whole and wii sports resort for wii motion plus. What function do Wii music have? NONE... Even members here even they enjoy wii fit buy wii fit not for wii fit alone but the possibility the balance board have and thats what Ninty wants.

Anyway, WE KNEW that wii music will be a million seller but theres no value on that game whatsoever. Only Ninty wants to cash in the music game craze...
