 Bah, visually it may appeal to kids, but the original Viva Pinata is suprisingly deep and requires a significant amount of strategy and dedication to complete and unlock everything.

I thought it was a given that Id rather get Star Wars FU than this but things have changed after the videos, previews and early reviews.

I always felt bad about missing the first VP so its actually looking more likely that Ill pick up VP2 now rather than Star Wars FU.

I agree on the marketing. I had no idea this was out next week. I loved the first so definitely picking up this one. Hopefully at that price sales will be better than the first.

Perhaps you should try it out. I suspect you'd be surprised with how deep and enjoyable the game is.

I went to pick up Infinite Undiscovery today and was going to pick up Pinata 2 with it but my GameStop is sold out. WTH. Of all the games why this one get sold out.

This has been true at a few stores now according to people.  Apparently the $40 price tag has helped it sell a lot more than stores thought it would so far.
